Hi everyone.
I'm 33 weeks today I had my last scan 2 weeks ago and baby was measuring 3 weeks ahead of due date, have another scan this Tuesday as I now get growth scans every 2 weeks. Last scan baby was measuring 4lb 7oz at 31 weeks, I'm so scared or another big baby as my last was 9lb and I had to get a lot of stitches... if I keep measuring further ahead do you think they will change dates or induce me? I am getting so impatient now mainly because I am constantly in pain if its not sciatica in my leg, its constant pains around my lower back or stomach or lightening pains which really do feel like an electric shock when they appear. I have a feeling baby might arrive early as sometimes I feel he is literally about to fall out of me. I didn't have any of these problems with baby no 1 until around 36 weeks. The pain for me is the main issue its really getting me down as I can't do nothing with my other son and partner as I am always getting sore so easily, what can I do to even ease the pain I have been to physio already and nothing they can do!

It's unlikely they'll induce you before 38 weeks even if it's a big baby. Pain wise, have you seen a physio? Pain relief?

Have they looked for a reason baby is measuring so big?
Gestational diabetes or something else? Can you talk to your GP about pain relief options in the meantime?

Not yet. I was tested for gestational diabetes at 21 weeks then I realised you aren't supposed to be tested for it until between 24 and 26 weeks I think, I said to my midwife about this and she said it was about early to have been tested for it but if the results came back negative it should be fine, I have always wondered if I should be tested again. I have mentioned countless times about the pains I have been experiencing and been to physio but they have done nothing or gave nothing to me.
