I had one at 6 weeks due to an emergency, it was abdominal but everything was done to avoid harming the pregnancy.
My ovary was operated on and so I’ve got progesterone to take until 12 weeks. I’ve been given a scan appointment at the EPU next week, I guess to see if everything is ok.
But I wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if so, how did it go? Do you have extra monitoring throughout these early weeks?
I’ve tried to ask as many questions as I could to the doctors but it all happened so fast and my time with them was limited.
I’m trying not to worry but it’s hard. Before this I was Googling to see if the three days of prenatal vitamins I had missed would have a detrimental effect … Now I’ve had propofol, opiates and the rest swirling around in my veins. It was necessary but it’s hard not to worry now.
