Acid reflux?

Hi all

I'm 16 weeks pregnant with my first child (last pregnancy sadly wasn't viable, nothing had developed)

Around week 6 I was suffering nausea so had to snack constantly to keep it at bay, I wasn't sick too many times. However since a few weeks back, I am being physically sick on and off every other day or so with what I think is acid reflux...

Basically I don't feel naseaus anymore but if I eat something quite heavy or drink too much water, or actually if I eat something that just doesn't agree with me at the time it feels like the food I have swallowed goes into a ball so far to my stomach and then rises straight back up and I have to vomit.

I don't get heart burn but I am guessing this is acid reflux? Once I've been sick, I'm absolutely fine and can happily continue eating my meal as normal! At the same time it's still a bit rubbish having to put up with the randomness of it all.

I've tried gaviscon but it didn't really help and plus the taste of it makes me feel sick! Does anyone else struggle with this? Is it acid reflux or some kind of indigestion issue? I have a midwife appointment next week so will also ask them then.

Thanks 😊
