How far along am I?

Hi everyone!

Just a quick one as I am still a good few weeks away from being seen for a scan so would like some input!

My cycles are pretty irregular but i know exactly when i ovulated, i am 12dpo (bfp at 10dpo and tested again today and line has progressed) and I am on cycle day 36 and ovulated about cd24.

Apps put me at 5+1 week as last period was 9th July but if i put into google my cycles last 38 days as thats how long this one would have been, I am 3+4 weeks which is super early, would i even be getting bfp's at this stage?!

I had a BFP 3 weeks after conception so yes, it's possible.

do another test on Monday morning, with first pee. if still BFP call GP and ask them to refer you for a vaginal scan to confirm & date your pg.

Going by dates of b'ding and ovulation, conception was only 2 weeks ago! im guessing i just got a really early positive! Ive already sent my self referral off and they will go by my last period so 5+1 so wont have an apt for about 3 weeks i reckon. I will take another test on 14dpo and 16dpo qnd it its progressing i will stop and wait for my referral, easier said than done😅😅

It's feasible, yes.

I'm pretty sure I found out at about 3 weeks with this pregnancy. I also have long cycles (32 - 40 days) with a LMP 14th June and BFP on 16th July (CD32, but I'm pretty sure this cycle would have been longer).

I got my bfp 1w 4d after ovulation but I have longer periods too. They went by my last period then amend your EDD at your 12 week scan. They actually put me a week ahead of my own dates at my 12 week scan too!

If you know for sure when you ovulated that’s all that matters, and plenty of people have detectable hcg at 10-12dpo. I have quite irregular cycles too but like you I’m always sure when I ovulated. So when the midwife asks for the date of my LMP I just tell her a date two weeks before day of ovulation. At any rate, if you’re 12dpo you’re 3 weeks, 5 days. Congrats!

Giving them a date of 2 weeks before i ovulated only makes me 8 days early so not much difference, thank you! More anxious now as its so so early and my first ever pregnancy! Just need to forget i am pregnant for the next month or so lol x
