Lower back ache

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had a bit of a lower back ache, nothing major during early pregnancy.

I suffer with back problems anyway. I have a slipped disk but just wondering if anyone has had the same thing?

It's not crippling, just a little tensed up.

Just worrying as when I miscarried previously, I had a pain around my whole body, waist height, they felt like a band around me.

I have got an early scan on Monday but just wanted to hear other people's experiences. :)

I had lower back pain that started at 10dpo and lasted a few weeks. It then went away and sciatica started instead. I previously had part of a disc removed.

@Nichola2310 thank you for your message. Sorry to hear you had back problems. Did you go on to have a successful pregnancy? Hope you don't mind me asking. X

Hi, l had back pain. It was constant for a few weeks then went away.

I had a successful pregnancy, my baby is now almost 6 months.

I had terrible back pain for day one with my third baby. Can't remember with the first 2. My whole pregnancy with her was awful. I was extremely ill, but no ill effects on the baby . She was a big bouncing 10lb 6oz, and I'm perfect health.
Good luck OP. Hope it eases off soon.

@LadyBird2020

It was a successful pregnancy in that I had a healthy baby. However mine was pretty extreme in that the sciatica was so severe for the entire pregnancy that I was housebound from 16 weeks apart from hospital appointments. It took about a year after I had him to recover.

However I'm 28 weeks pregnant now (1st baby is just about to turn 3) and have only had a few days of lower back pain and unbelievably no sciatica at all.

@1990b @Iminaglasscaseofemotion thank you so much for your messages. It is reassuring to hear.
I think I am just panicking because of previous experiences. Although this back ache is nothing like it was before, I just hope and pray everything is ok.
Last time, I couldn't even sit still, I was so uncomfortable and went to the extent of buying a mattress topper as my back felt so bad.
It's nothing like that this time and I think it doesn't help I have a slipped disk so always a bit of a niggling pain now and again before pregnancy.
I am so happy to hear you both had successful pregnancies. Hope you are enjoying motherhood.
I have everything crossed that I can join the mum gang this time round xx

@Nichola2310 oh wow, you really did have a rough pregnancy. I'm sorry to hear you suffered so much but so happy you have a healthy little boy.
I am glad to hear you haven't suffered so much this time round! ❤️ x
