Hi Girls,
Just wondering if anyone knows r you likely to go earlier than due date on your second. I went on the due date with dd and would hate to go over.

They say if you go over on your first you are likely to go over on second!! My SIL went 2 days early on 1st and 3 days over on 2nd so you never know - I would hate to go over also - went early by 10 days on first but dont expect to go that early again!! Its a long 40 weeks witout going over!!!

Hi dkay

I think every pg is different. With my first, he came at 37 weeks but now i'm (im)patiently awaiting the arrival of my second at 40+2!!

I know what you mean by the pregnancy being long enough. I'm 35+3 at the mo and I'm due New years Eve, would love to go after xmas day and before new years eve but that's in an ideal world. Was given the option to be induced but don't wana go there so here is hoping!!

Is this your first? Why were you offered induction?

yomellamoHelly · 29/11/2007 20:32

Ds1 was 5 days late. Ds2 a day late (just)!).

JenT · 29/11/2007 20:35

we were a statistical anomaly - bang on due date both times.. apparently almost unheard of!
Good luck!

DD1 - established labour on due date, born 3 days later ,

DD2 born a week early on DD1s 2nd birthday

DC3 - ask me april / may time. Possible hatrick on the cards as duie date is close to DD1 and DD2's birthdays

this is NOT all down to bonking only once a year OK!

cazboldy · 29/11/2007 20:54

ds1 - 6 days late
dd1 - 1 day late
ds2 - 3 weeks early
ds3 - 1 day late
dd2 - 9am on due date.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 29/11/2007 20:54

In my friends experience:

DS1 - 4 weeks early
DS2 - 1 week early
DS3 - 40+5

You never can tell!
