Any Newcastle area mummies on here?

Just wondering when you received your 12 week scan letter, I’m a little over 11 weeks, also my friend is around 13 weeks and hasn’t had hers either. when did you get your scan letters?

Just went back and checked what it was for me. I had booking appt at 8 weeks exactly. Midwife sent my notes off to both RVI (where I’m having my scans etc) and Northumbria trust (I’m in North Tyneside officially so both trusts got my notes). Got my notes back from Northumbria at 9 weeks exactly (with a note saying they’d forwarded them to RVI). RVI scan letter came through 10+1 for scan on 13+2. Hope that’s helpful!

As an aside, we had a private scan at what I thought 12+1 and they dated me 5-6 days ahead. It would have meant that my scan at RVI would have been exactly 14 weeks (the cut off for the NT screening). I rang the maternity reception, explained the private scan date, and they moved me forward to that afternoon to fill a cancellation as they really want to get you in before 14 weeks - really helpful lady and would recommend giving them a ring if you have questions about your scan dates (and that’s where your scans are going to be)!

I had to chase them ! Finally got a letter for when I was around 13+4, the cut off for the testing is usually 14 +1 I think so I'd get your friend to chase them up by ringing the number. It's easy after that as they book your next scan in while you are there.

Mine was on the later side too, I can’t remember exactly what gestation but around 13+6 I think, within cut off but just. I know the unit is extremely busy at the minute.

Im through Northumbria trust, as I'm having my baby at nsech, I went for booking appointment at 8 weeks, got my scan letter a week or so later for 12+3....give them a ring you might have an appointment but hasn't been delivered yet due to mail backlogs
