Evap line or positive?

I have taken tests two days in a row (CD8 and CD9) both show negative then after an hour show positive - is this a false positive (evap line) or a delayed positive due to lower levels of Hcg? Thanks

What do the instructions of the test say? Is your period late?

LWR92 · 11/08/2021 10:51

It won't allow me to post a picture of the test for some reason but the instructions say check within 3-10 mins. However I've used the same tests previously and can check them an hour or a day later and still say negative. Would an evap line have colour in it?

How long are your cycles? When is AF due? Cd8 and 9 is too early for a normal 28d cycle.

LWR92 · 11/08/2021 11:04

I'm usually 28-29 days so I'll leave it a few days and test again, thanks

If you have a 28 day cycle the ovulation is around cd14 so it's way too early to test as you've potentially not ovulated yet.
Do you track ovulation with opks?

LWR92 · 11/08/2021 11:19

Yes I've been tracking them last few months and I'm usually between CD11-13 for ovulation (positive on cd 11 or 12)

If you are a new member I think you have to wait something like 48hrs before you can post pics x
