I had the astrazeneca vaccine a week before I found out I was pregnant (had no idea I could have concieve) I have also recently had Covid at when I was 15 weeks pregnant. Do you think this will be enough protection to last till after baby is born or should I still get the 2nd shot?

The general advice is to still have your second no matter which vaccine you had. It’s best for pregnant women to have both so you can be sure you’re as protected as you can be to minimise the risk of complications in later pregnancy.

I had mine at 20 and 28 weeks (moderna) and so glad I did (now 31 weeks) xx

Definitely have the second shot. We all need as much help as possible with the Delta variant. I saw some statistic recently that suggested that pregnant women are highly highly unlikely to need to be treated for moderate or severe covid if they are infected, as long as they have had both shots. Had my first at 21 weeks and second on Friday around 30 weeks (Moderna). Good luck with your pregnancy!
