Very faint line on test.. confused!

Hello everybody, Hope your all ok.
So this is my first post after months of disappointment. Me and my partner have been ttc for just over a year now. My period was due on Friday just gone. Thursday had light pink on tissue once when wiped first thing in morning, then nothing. Friday i had some brown/rusty colour when wiping and some stringy bits on tissue (sorry for the tmi).
Since i have had no other bleeding. My boobs have been sore and painful on and off but aware them been uncomfy alot over past 5-6 days. Been very emotional and tearful today over nothing. But cause of the 2 days weird bleed i thought we were out another month but as only minimal for 2days i have just tested.. I think there is a very faint line but not sure if going mad.. Any thoughts would be so welcome. thank you all so much in advance :) x

I can see a faint line but can't tell if it's pink (positive) or grey (evap).

Buy a FRER and use first wee of the day, that should tell you conclusively at this point.

Sounds a bit like the "implantation bleeding" I recall having with my first pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you :)

I can see a faint line. I had very similar bleeding with my first pregnancy, in the few days before my period was due I had light pink when wiping then dark brown on the day it was due. I assume it was due to implantation bleeding. Good luck!

Im 36 next time too so really hoping it happens soon for us.

Done another cheapy this morning had in house with fmu but to me looks negative so i guess im out again 😫🙈

I have 2 babies, had the implantation bleeding with my first but not with my second. I had no red bleeding at all, just light pink and then dark brown. I can see a v faint line on the latest test, am keeping my fingers crossed for you

Sorrg if tmi but mine was pink of first day for 1 wipe and then last 2 days been a bit but not loads of brown and only when wiping. Did you have any other symptoms alongside it? I will wait a few days and get a clear blue or Frer test. Thank you x

I would do an FRER as soon as you can (they are on Amazon), then test again for line progression a few days after. I don't think you are out yet, my lines looked really faint on anything but FRER even after my period was due. Good luck!

Looking back (I took photos!!), my lines looked similar to yours 3-4 days after my missed period, on internet cheapies. FRER lines were getting darker at that point. I then went on holiday (so stopped testing at that point.... and quickly resumed when I got back before stopping when I was getting dye stealers), but a week after that (so 10 days post missed period) there was a definite line on internet cheapies.

Really hope you get good news. I think definitely try an FRER and repeating once a few days later to see if progressing.

I remember having light pink when I wiped about a week before I was due, and then the day before I was due I started to get the dark brown. I think the dark brown continued for a couple of days after x

Sorry forgot to add, I had period like pains, so I thought I was out that month. No other symptoms that I remember

avobee thanks for giving me hope luv. Iv ordered some first response tests so will do another later in week to see if anything/ darker line there 🤞🏻 Good to no you had similar test result and went on to have a successful healthy baby x

pinkpanther- That is very similar to me apart from my pink was only a day or 2 before period due. had some period like pains too but noticed more with how sore and sensitive my boobs are as never normally have this (but who knows when symptom spotting like mad 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈) Thanks for sharing you experience tho hun, appreciate it xx

Hi, so just a quick update- Im still feeling off it. Had really bad headaches constant for last few days, feeling sick and just so tired. Today had to nap for an hour or so in work time (perks of working from home 🤫).. Boobs been sensitive and uncomfy (feel like growing pains) but more ln last day or so have a weird feeling down below (like a pulling/ tingling sensation) that i havent felt before around period or after. My tests from amazon have come this aft so i will do one with fmu in morning. Really dont want to get my hopes up but just feel so strange and not like normal.. Oh also nearly forgot when just gone to loo before bed (sorry if tmi) i wiped and had what i can only describe as like a pale rusty browny gloopy snot like discharge which i havent had before, there was only a small amount andnonly on wiping once. Has anybody reading had any of this and gone on to get there bfp? Thanks all so much 😊 xx

Not my month again by looks of it.. on to the next and again i tell my self dont buy any more tests but we will see haha

Digital tests take ages to show a positive as they aren't as sensitive as others.
Can you get a FRER?

NZmum40 ... Oh really. I had come to terms with it this month but maybe not (ha).. They dont sell Frer in co op or local mini supermarket near me. I will be going to to the Big shop tomorrow so will look in Asda. Did you have similar were you got negative on digi and bfp on frer? Or has anyone else had this and if so how far apart testing were they different? Thanks alot everyone x

Doesn't look like it. If your period was due two weeks ago you'd expect to see a very clear line.
