Clear blue test wrong?

Hi!
This is my first pregnancy, I’m 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow according to my last period date and 6 weeks from when I conceived.
Clear blue is still showing at 2-3 weeks and I’m worried! Has this happened to anyone else?

I have head of the hook effect look it up I don't know if it happens with the clear blue or not but also read people not getting a 3+ on them and everything being fine, midwifes want them banned cause they cause unnecessary stress. If you have no bleeding or pain then you will be fine.

But to add I never went by 2-3weeks and miscarriaged but I lost at 6 weeks so ur further on will no other signs.

@Babyghirl thank you for that, I’ve had a look at the hook effect and that kinda makes sense, I’m going to try diluting the urine to see if that helps. I have had not so much pain but tightening around where my ovary is, midwife told me that’s normal and no bleeding so hopefully everything is ok. It’s so worrying!

It's awful I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp and when I get a bfp I be on tender hooks now under the rmc and will get progesterone on my nxt bfp hoping it helps as I have no baby yet have my fingers crossed for you it works out 💚

I never got a 3+ on a clear blue, but am now 26 weeks pregnant. HCG levels really vary by people, ovulation date, conception etc, please try not to worry (I know it's impossible not to, I worried too!)

@thecheesebadge when did you do your last test with a clear blue? I know I should stop testing I’m just trying to reassure myself but it makes it worse! Thank you for replying I’m glad I’m not the only one xx
