1st covid vaccine after baby is born - How long to wait?

I have decided to hold off having my Covid vaccines until baby is born (I was well into my third trimester when I was offered my first jab and felt most comfortable holding off until baby was here).

Has anyone else done the same? If so, how long after giving birth did you get your first COVID vaccine?

11 days but this was back in April and was the earliest clinic my drs had. They weren't vac preg lady's at the time so had no choice to wait. If it was now I would have the vac while preg

I would get it as soon as possible.

As soon as possible, unless you fancy being seriously ill with a newborn.

I’m pregnant and chose to have the vaccine. But if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t wait. I’d book it as soon as possible afterwards. The sooner you have it, the sooner you have some protection. As a pp already said, you don’t want to be poorly with a new baby.
If you do catch Covid (fingers crossed you don’t ), the vaccine will hopefully reduce symptoms.

Good luck with your birth Flowers
