Is this my mucas plug?

Hi ladies this is a gross post and picture and tmi I'm so sorry in advanced, basically me and my partner had sexy time yesterday but everytime I go to the toilet today I get loads of snot/jelly like discharge stuff I'm really not sure if it his stuff just coming out or bits of my mucas plug coming away? I'm almost 31 weeks.

I wouldn’t say so.
Plug is usually darker.
Looks like regular discharge- ask your mw?

My mucus plug was almost brown in colour, I think that's regular discharge and possibly left over semen

When it's so early it can look like this, I lost some of mine at 25 weeks last Sunday and triage wanted to assess me with no other premature Labour signs. I would call your local maternity ward for peace of mind. They may want to have a look at your cervix to see if it's opening. If it is they made want to take some precautions and delay labour. Don't listen to mumsnet, speak to your care team!

I lost my plug last week at 30 weeks and it looked similar to this, I had an appointment the next day and showed the picture to my midwife who confirmed it was. I was told unless you have pain or bleeding not to worry as it will regenerate :)

My mucus plug came away in a oner when my waters broke. It was almost black.

I have had similar today but only when I wipe (I am 40+1) so I am pretty sure it is my mucus plug coming away gradually as it has that jelly / snot texture, it seems different to normal discharge I usually get. Your mucus plug can be clear, streaked with blood or a brown ish colour. If you Google images of mucus plugs, you will see mucus plugs very similar to yours in the pic All the best Xx

Yup when u lost the first bits it was like this.
Only gave birth 10 days later though...
