TMI - 20+ clots & severe pain

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have been bleeding steadily for 4 days now. It hasn’t filled pads it’s normally just when I wipe when on the toilet or spotting on my pad. Anyway, I had a early scan 4 days ago and saw baby and heart beat was flickering away. I have an appt with my early pregnancy unit in 3 days due to bleeding and cramps and they’re going to rescan me. Last night was HORRIFIC. There was blood everywhere, I was on the toilet constantly passing large clots every 6-9 minutes with severe pain where I was in tears. I haven’t seen anything sac like yet and this morning my abdominal pain has completely gone. I’ve now gone back to spotting and blood when I wipe. I will attach some pics of some of the clots I’ve passed so you can get an idea of what size they are and what they are. Has anyone experienced this?? I could quite easily say I’ve passed over 20 clots last night alone.

I would prepare yourself mentally for being told you have miscarriages. Losing clots especially is not a good sign. Can you go to an early preg hnit and get another scan. If you have miscarries you need to be sure it was complete. Sorry for your loss.

I think you need to get yourself to A&E and not wait for EPU x

Sorry your going through this, from my experience and I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp but it does doukd like you have had a miscarriage, with all mine the blood went in to the toilet with clots and tissue but I learnt that the clots slid in to the toilet with hardly a sound but pass tissue would make a splash sound, and pain well more period cramps died down when I passed everything, but when I told epu what happened they did not scan me just told me to take a test in 2 weeks and let them know what it says. 💚
