What are the essentials when starting to buy stuff for a baby?

I'm due Feb 22! And this is my first baby so I'm quite clueless!

Cot and pram. They'll be in one or the other whenever they're not on you to start with. Also the most expensive things so best to plan ahead!

Car seat too. You'll need that to get them home from the hospital!
