Second pregnancy - showing early

Hi All,

I had my son by CS almost 14 months ago. My stomach still had a bit of a pooch but nothing major... until now! I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant with DC2 and I look 5 months gone 😳 I actually had to stick one of my old maternity tops on today as it was so noticeable.

When did you start showing in your second pregnancies? Was is just bloat that went down before the bump arrived or did it arrive early on and keep growing?

Not sure how I'm going to be able to hide it for the next few weeks without my mum getting suspicious x

It's just bloat, I was the same and it disappeared by 11/12 weeks.

I'm the same, nearly 8 weeks with DC2 and I look huge. I've been living in baggy tops and maxi dresses at work as they don't know I'm pregnant but it's getting hard to hide

Definitely bloat... at around 12 weeks, I was paranoid that my "bump" looked smaller... and then it took a while for it to be an actual hard bump... but I felt super bloated in the early weeks

I can literally feel myself expanding as the day goes on. As soon as I get home I have to change into oversized jogging bottoms and a baggy t-shirt (bra off). The bloat is unreal! Definitely wasn't like this in my last pregnancy, although I don't think the heat is helping 🥵

I had my DS 16 months ago and im nearly 9 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and im struggling massively with bloat and dont fit in my jeggings or jeans or shorts. I just bought joggers and some over sized t shirts as I look 4 or 5 months pregnant too. Hoping it settles down.

Exactly this! Only between 6-7 weeks pregnant max and I look 5/6 months pregnant! None of my clothes fit anymore and even my boss said she could see it yesterday(luckily I’ve already told her) but hiding it from other family is going to be interesting! Glad this seems to be a normal thing?
