Brown discharge at 28 weeks

I'm 28+4 and for the last few days have been having some brown discharge. Has anyone had similar at this stage?

I had a growth scan and midwife appointment this week before it started and all was apparently looking good. I phoned the hospital this morning and they've said they're not worried as it's brown (old blood) and I've got not pain and baby is still moving as normal. They've said to call again if the colour or amount changes.

Trying my best not to worry, but due to a previous loss, this is easier said than done. I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else?

I have no experience of brown discharge, but didn’t want to leave your post unanswered. I have heard brown is okay.

If I was you I would book a private scan, just for my own peace of mind x
