What could this mean?

I had a scan today and they seen the pregnancy sac but couldn’t see anything in it yet, however my hcg levels are 3200 so they said they would have expected to see something now. I should only be around 5-6 weeks pregnant at the very most, levels are still rising by tripling and doubling every 48 hours. I’ve to go for another scan next week but can’t stop over thinking! Has anyone had this before or know what it could mean? X

At the moment, it simply means that it's too early. Very common not see a fetal pole or heartbeat until after 6 weeks. You should be able to see more next time. HCG varies so much for everyone that honestly, its not a reliable marker for scans. My HCG was over 15000 at 5 weeks and we still couldn't see the fetal pole.
