Hi,

I’m hoping someone has the same issue as me.

I really love the idea of having them next to me it our bedroom, in a next to me crib!

Our bed has a thick ledge/trim which goes all the way round the bed. It’s about 15cm deep.

Most next to me ribs have legs which would normal go next or under the bed which would then make the crib flush to the bed, but we can’t do this. our bed is flat on the floor and the ledge would mean it sits away from me and I would like it to sit over the ledge (if this makes sense)

Any ideas of cribs which would work for these type of beds?

My bed is like this and the snuzpod strap I think just goes round a spar on the bed so would still be able to be attached but we’ve decided not to and just have it sitting against the wall slightly over from the bed

Haven't used it yet but we've ended up buying a chicco next to me because its legs fold inwards so you don't need space under the bed to pull it up close. Our bed goes flat to the ground so I had the same concerns.

You need the type with a "bridge".

One alternative is to make your own - Ikea Sniglar converts well. There will still be a gap but what you do is push the mattress across to meet your mattress and then block the far end with dense foam cut to size, or rolled towels/blankets so they are tight and not fluffy.

Alternatively measure the entire width of cot + gap and order a custom size mattress to fit.

We have the Joie Roomie one which has adjustable feet. The tuck in so you can strap to a bed and go up against the best even with no space underneath.

I think by the looks a fair few about have this feature
