I’m 4w + 3 and I’ve just counted how many pregnancy tests I’ve taken so far…

TEN!!!

I think I’ve got a problem.

They’re all arranged on the spare room windowsill in order and I go and look at the line progression more often than I should.
I’ve got one more CB normal one and one CB digital weeks one that I’m saving for 5 weeks and hoping to get the 3+ sign.

I had a MC in a previous relationship and two CPs with my now husband so the BFP was lovely but terrifying!
When does the crazy wear off?

I'm pregnant after 2 miscarriages in a row and you just prompted me to count my tests (all in an album on my phone), I took 26 between 8-21DPO Blush 8DPO was my first faint line and 21DPO was when I got a 3+ on the digital. Now that I'm past the peeing on a stick stage, I've instead paid for 4 private blood tests and an early scan. The crazy is very much still strong for me Grin

Congratulations! I hope this is your sticky baby ❤

I really laughed at this post because I too had the many tests I had taken arranged in order on my windowsill. The amount of times I would go and stare at them or collect them up and take them with me to whatever activity I was doing (e.g watching tele) and just analyse the progression. I am 11 weeks now, so no longer can obsessively test but I don’t think I miss it, I needed something to make me stop and the hook effect eventually took over meaning I couldn’t sufficiently track the progress anymore. That’s when my crazy stopped for a while. I had a miscarriage earlier in the year but this time I had constant nausea and sickness reminding me so also didn’t feel like I needed the reassurance.

From what I have heard, I don’t think the crazy ever goes! We just find something else to feel crazy about instead of the line on the test.
