Hi,
I'm having an ELCS for multiple reasons (had to have prior csection with DS1, placenta is partially covering my cervix, baby is breech, baby is big)
Baby is transverse breech and has been pretty much the whole third trimester.
Consultant recommended an ELCS and I'm fine with that, prior to finding out all of these issues I was hoping for a VBAC so a little gutted I'll never get to experience labour.
But if you did go into labour with a breech baby, was it the same signs as regular head down engaged labour?
I've been having strong contractions (irregular), loose bowels and lots of white discharge. DS keeps shoving his foot so low sometimes I'm convinced my waters will explode!
I'm sort of just wondering if I'll get to experience at least the beginning of labour before having a csection.
Also, was the incision and everything the same as a regular csection?
*im also at home a lot and have a lot of time on my hands to think, can you tell? Haha
