33weeks - where are we all

Hi everyone

I’m currently approaching 33 weeks and just wondering where everyone’s heads are at who are in similar stages of pregnancy?

I’m feeling really nervous and scared about the unknown, wondering when I will go into labour, where will I be when it starts, will it even happen naturally and so forth. All sorts of things running through my mind.

Hospital bag isn’t packed but I feel like I have time on my side, then I think well do I have time on my side as we just can’t predict pregnancy can we ladies?

I’m a bag of nerves, I’m worrying about going from a family of 4 to a family of 5. Two adults and three kids. Everything will be so much harder now that there isn’t one kid to one adult ratio!

Will I cope? Will I manage?

Just wanted to chat to other folk in the same mind set x

Hey, I'm 33+2 with my first. I'm a similar bag of nerves. Feels more real now! Packing hospitalbag this week, nursery isn't done at all. My nesting instinct has kicked in which is driving me mad. Physically I feel fine but struggling with bending now x

Anyone else x

This is dc2 for me and I'm on an emotional rollercoaster

• dc1 is in the 2 year sleep regression and taking up to 2 hours to go to bed and waking through the night
• im on school holidays so have dc1 all day everyday

-husband is mega busy with work as covid has basically put 2 years of work into 1 summer

• garden is being landscaped

-house is currently mid way through an extension (now watertight luckily)

• nursery still full of dh crap that he refuses to prioritise time to sort through so can't get new baby clothes sorted and washed

Also suffering with thrombosed piles meaning I can barely walk/sit!

I'm genuinely at the point where I'm mortified that I've still got 8 weeks to go and can't fathom how I'm going to cope another week let alone 8.

Oh, and I haven't bought anything for this baby yet nor have we picked a name or packed hospital bag. Ugh.

I'll be 33 weeks on Fri. Half of me wants to fast forward to baby being here and get pregnancy over with, but the other half is scared shirtless of having a baby and a toddler! Also not done hospital bag and are nowhere near to choosing a name if this baby is a boy. We are stuck in limbo trying to decide whether to extend or try and buy in this crazy house market but I'm not sure we can actually afford to do either!!!
