Hi so i suffer from PCOS and although i am still young i want to start a family with my partner soon( in about 2 years so this definitely wouldnt be planned 😂) but we both decided right now wouldn't be the best so we postponed trying, recently i have been feeling a little emotional and nauseous and my sleeping schedule has completely changed from normal which i know happened to my mum in early pregnancy im 5 dpo right now and took a test because im impatient (yes i know i shouldnt but sometimes i cant resist 😂) and each time i can see a faint line in the 5 minute time frame however they have been fading after the 10 minute mark to the point where its barley there you can only just see it and im becoming more and more confused i read that this could be im too early and my HCG isnt high enough to hold out a positive line i just need a little advise i would attach a picture but the camera wouldn't pick up the line however both my sister and i could see it so its not line eyes any advice would be appreciated

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it's even possible to get a positive test at 5dpo. it takes at least 6 days for implantation and then another day or two for hcg to build up enough for a senitive test to pick it up.

You could have a bug or something that is giving you the nausea and affecting your sleep. If it persists and you still feel you could be pregnant, I'd wait at least a week before testing again

5dpo is way to early for a test to pick anything up implantation normally happens around 6 to 7 dpo and as said above another 2 days for your hcg to be picked up on any test so even symptoms at this stage is unlikely, unless u ovulated earlier than u though.

Hi Thankyou for your advice, I couldnt have conceived earlier than this due to me being in a long distance relationship however my symptoms have continued including sore boobs but i am just gonna take more tests in a few days and go from there i think its the only thing i really can do at this point as my doctor said it can be possible to show earlier in some but i dont wanna get attached something that might not be there ill keep you updated Smile

Hi just an update i have continued to get positives and even got one on a clear blue which has never happened to me before as i have never been able to get that far into pregnancy ill attach some of the better photos i took a clear blue one as i was getting some positives and some negatives but the strips were really cheap and something told me to take a clear blue one the line is a-lot darker in person especially before it dried and it was in the time frame i made sure and i even inverted it because I didn't quite believe it what are everyone's beliefs on clear blue tests?

It might be because I'm outside and it's bright but all three of those look negative to me OP
