FRER Indent? Help please

Just after some help please last month I got a pretty horrid indent but didn’t seem as dark as this, just after some opinions please , I’m either 8/9dpo pic attached

Does the second line have colour? It’s hard to tell on the photo x

@Lcjf I can see a faint line without even clicking on the pic so I'd say that's a bfp although early so you'll need to keep testing until your missed period, (which I'm sure you will) good luck!

I thought so when I first looked (the pics were taken just before 3 mins) but now looking after the time frame I’m not sure! Bloody FRER! 😭

It's still very early. I can see an extremely faint 2nd line. Give it a few days and test again, good luck.

Thank you, just don’t trust FRER at all with my first daughter ( I tested out the trigger as she was IVF and never got an evap) I have no idea what has happened to the tests since then, it’s souls destroying as you can’t help but get a little excited when you see a line x

Not necessarily - try with your second morning urine. My second pee always showed a darker test than first. I tested positive at 8dpo too… I’m 39 weeks now

How frustrating OP! I got sick of frer due to these sodding indent lines and bought a pack of Wondfo tests from amazon earlier this year when I was ttc - they have mixed reviews but I rated them. Got my bfp before AF was due (I think about 11dpo) then had decent line progression. I'd definitely use them again. Good luck with ttc- everything crossed for you

What can often happen because FRER are so sensitive (I've known someone get a faint line with a blood Hcg level of 6 so would have been far lower than that in her wee) is that when an embryo initially tries to implant it can release an initial burst of hcg and this is what FRER is picking up. This is often why at 8DPO someone can get a faint line like yours but No progression the next day. It then takes a couple of days to really get going. So down count yourself out get. I only got a very very faint (fainter than yours) BFP at 8DPO but that was with twins

Why don't you just wait till your actual period due date? I'm not trying to be goady but honestly, you would save a lot of anguish

Thanks all, I would wait however literally haven’t got it in me tbh after 4 years of infertility and losses it’s become a weird obsession testing early sounds crazy I know!
