Hey girls, I just found out I'm pregnant! From my calculations I'm 4 weeks 1 day. Is that a good line progression or should they be darker at this time? (Both tests are 25miu) Also, my mom had a lot of recurrent miscarriages at 6-11weeks. Is it possible that I will be the same? I find it really hard to be excited about the pregnancy because I'm so scared of miscarriage..😭

Line progression isn’t an exact science. Yours have gotten darker, and I would stop testing at this point. If you have no bleeding and cramping then you should be okay. (I said should because some ladies don’t have any and unfortunately aren’t okay). Fertility isn’t generally hereditary so there’s not an obvious link to your mothers experiences but miscarriage is quite common sadly. All you can do is try and be as calm as possible and look after your mind and body. Congratulations and good luck xx

@mimi19944 your line progression looks good! HCG doubles every 48hrs so if you want to see progression you should only test every second day. That said, try (I know it's hard) not to get too obsessive about it or you'll drive yourself mad.

Congratulations! X

There are too many variables to rely on line progression as an indication that your pregnancy will continue / be successful. A scan will be able to tell you that. Stop testing, you're wasting money and causing yourself stress. You're pregnant, congratulations

Home tests can't indicate pregnancy viability. You've got good positives, if you must keep testing do it at a weekly intervals now at most but no point beyond 6wk.
Congratulations and good luck
