Why does nobody talk about groin pain in late pregnancy!?

I can hardly walk with it right now! Seems to have come out of no where!

You have my sympathy - horrible, isn't it?

I joined an NCT group, and we all shared frankly and frequently about fanny daggers, the feeling of a granite netball resting and occasionally butting one's cervix, labia feeling swollen like we'd been having a lot more fun than we had been, and plenty more!

Oh god, I've just remembered how bad this was in my first pregnancy. It was really uncomfortable to walk by the end. By that point I was just feeling too miserable and poked and prodded to bring it up with my midwife and I didn't think there was anything they could do.

At the start of my second pregnancy now and the thought of it coming back is making me cringe

I am glad there are others out there that can relate! This is my first pregnancy and I am currently 39+3 and wow does it hurt! It was absolute agony trying to get into bed just now. Not quite sure why it is suddenly so bad as it wasn’t so sore earlier. Thankfully it’s only 1 side. Not looking forward to my dog walks tomorrow at this rate!

I think mine definitely gets worse as the day goes on! I start off able to walk about quite well and by the time I’m getting in/out of bed at night time I’m struggling to get up.

And omg @FriedasCarLoad someone mentioned in another post about it looking a different colour down there. I dared have a look yesterday and wtf is going on 😂 so swollen and way darker in colour! I was like I’m sure that didn’t used to look like that?! 😧

Oh I can’t stop moaning about it. I’ve had awful pain and numbness in my groin from about 25 weeks.
One of my labia is purple and swollen with varicose veins. It’s frankly awful! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Lol! “Let’s have a baby, it’ll be amazing we said…..” Those men don’t know how easy they have it!
