@THATmamaofMANY thanks for the advice I really appreciate it. His my 4th baby but with a 13 year age gap feel like a first time mum all over again!

How are you getting on How's little man?

He is good thanks! My eldest is 13 and baby is #6, #5 is under two so all the baby stuff is still fresh in my mind lol we have pretty much constantly been in the baby/toddler zone for 13+ years!

What is everyone dressing their baby in during the day? I feel like I’m being such a lazy parent by dressing them in a vest and babygro everyday but our baby hates the process of getting dressed so just trying to keep it simple.

99% of the time vest and babygro!

@Bunny2021 vest and baby grow, or anything comfortable is best for babies. They just want to be comfy and warm (and baby grows are too cute anyway)

@THATmamaofMANY @Warrickdaviesasplates - ok great! One of the NCT mums keeps sending photos of her baby in all these proper outfits. Glad to hear not everyone is doing this 😂

I will be honest my first dc had a wardrobe of outfits, hundreds of pounds worth of Next gear. Joggers, jumpers, jeans, dungerees etc. Its a right faff for changing them, making items match etc plus not as comfy for baby.

The other 5dc have lived mainly in babygros until 6ish months

We are also sticking to vests + sleeping suits and wish the vests had poppers too or strings for ease.

Also we finally have a name- Olivia- quite popular so hopefully we will not have 5 Olivias in the same class.
She lost 10.7% of her weight- day 3 post is when they lose the most midwife told me ( lactation consultant) and they didn’t want to weigh her before the discharge day at the hospital even though I asked. We were told all is fine she will be fine- things started to improve quickly while at home ;-) I wish I left after 2 nights.

There are still some babies enjoying their easy life in the womb, aren’t they?
My DS was overdue and for them to be born at the same time she would need to stay out until Sunday;-)
Also the doctor used the forceps and we were not told why apart from that the incision is smaller. There was a bruise on her eye and chin all gone by now but eye lid still a bit red.
Fingers crossed for those still expecting !!!

@Bunny2021 were also just baby grow and vest, I have a tonne of 0 to 3 as was told he would be big but being under 8lb newborn is swamping him so need to order some cheap baby grows as have about 8 and constantly have washing lol.

Hope any still waiting don't have much longer to wait xx

Baby boy was born yesterday afternoon, a very quick calm birth and we are now both home!
