Hi everyone I'm 18 weeks pregnant and have a 10 month old son

With my son I was induced as they thought he was massive i had the balloon and then was put on the drip i got to 4cm and stopped dilating my contractions were to close together and my son got into distress and hes heart rate dropped I was rushed for an emergency c section and his cord was wrapped round his neck luckily he was ok but it was so scary I'm petrified of another c section

My doctor said shes happy for my to try a vbac but labor needs happen naturally as my body dosnt take too induction

I'm just looking some advice how u prepared for your vbac
And would love to hear peoples experiences

Tia

I had to have an emergency c section with my first as he got stuck, I had quite a traumatic time and was so scared of another c section. I waited 7 years to have our 2nd baby that birth was a vbac she needed a little help with vontous but I think that just because she was quite small n couldn't help herself much but I've since had baby 3 & 4 naturally and currently pregnant with baby 5. I'm sure you will be be fine along as doctors are happy for you to have a vbac then go for it.

I had a vbac with my 3rd after DC2 was breech. I was induced because he was 10 days late but my cervix was open enough that they just had to break my waters. I found it pretty good and easier than my 1st which was spontaneous labour. DC3 was huge though, so the final bit of pushing wasn't fun. I did an antenatal classes beforehand that has a lot about active birth and breathing and I think it helped a bit and made me feel as prepared as possible.
