10+5 strange cramping ?

Hi! I've added a photo to explain what I mean 😬

I had a private ultrasound a few days ago and im measuring 10 weeks and 5 days today and im getting the weirdest cramping

Where I drew the yellow line on the photo, it's the entire way from right hip to left hip, and it was when I stood up earlier, and I felt like cramp right the way across. (Like painful leg cramp but in my stomach).

It hurt when it happened and was uncomfortable but the pain went literally straight away, and now I'm just concerned!

Is this normal, have you left anything like it?? X

Yes, I had this loads in early pregnancy. It felt kind of like a stitch but spread across. It happened any time I made a sudden movement, like standing up, twisting etc.
Don’t worry, it’s just your uterus stretching and doing it’s thing.
My baby is 3 months old now

Just remembered, I think it’s called round ligament pain, completely normal.

Sounds like normal round ligament pain.

I've had some of this plus a teeny bit of brown spotting for a couple of days. I ended up going to the EPU this morning to check and all is well with baby - midwife said the spotting and the pain are completely normal for this stage and are both related to growing/stretching and the placenta settling itself into position. I'm 11w today so maybe this also applies to you!

Definitely round ligament pain. I got it a lot around 12 weeks, especially when standing up/getting up from the toilet & also when coughing or sneezing
