I'd really like to thank the woman who followed me (waddling at 30 weeks) towards the first capital connect train at Kentish Town this morning and at the last minute pushed past me and took the last spot on the train. No, really, thanks. For the push AND for the twenty minutes I had to wait for the next train.

Obviously, you may not have realised I was pregnant, in which case, ignore the sarcasm above as it obviously fine to push past normal commuters and take their space. ??????????? Oh, there goes that sarcasm thing again!

RAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

I now feel better. Thanks.

Did you not say anything? I would have hollared out loud and made a HUGE scnen - the bitch! Wait until she is old and infirm - then she will know how it feels.

Or on a nicer note - maybe she had just had some terrible news and had to rush home and was completely unaware of her surrounds, as she was so self-absorbed thinking over what she had to face when she got home? Poor woman.

santascRUMPELedsuit · 27/11/2007 18:33

Scene even - I couldn't get the words out I was so for you!

BellaBear · 27/11/2007 18:36

ha! There was no one on the platform to make a scene in front of, she took the last place. The doors were still open, but I couldn't get on.

I am hoping someone had a go at her after, and to be honest she wouldn't have known I was pg from behind (or maybe I'm kidding myself!). Still, pushing someone is rude any way round.

The fact that I don't know all the details is what stops me expressing violent thoughts!

While you are doing such a marvellous job at not being sarcastic BB could you please thank the woman who was flashing her lights at me and causing a jam of beeping cars in Sainsbury's the other day because I wouldn't leave my parking space the second I had got in the car (I was making a phone call which is ILLEGAL to do when driving) HRMPH.

BellaBear · 27/11/2007 18:39

it's quite a strain, but I think I can do it

Thanks Bella

BellaBear · 27/11/2007 18:43

D'you know, I really hope I haven't done something totally unreasonable from someone else's POV without realising and this is just karma? Which I'm not entirely convinced I believe in, anyway.

God I love chocolate.

and seats

DANCESwithHughJackman · 27/11/2007 18:57

You weren't unreasonable. Pregnancy aside what she did was rude and unacceptable behaviour. Now stop hogging that seat and pass me a chocolate

santascRUMPELedsuit · 27/11/2007 19:14

You need to invest in one of those little tripod camping seats - they sell them at motor racing events. Then you can whip it out next time you have to wait or alternatively bash rude people over the head with it and blame it on your hormones

BellaBear · 27/11/2007 19:20

to both of you!

What a b*t£h!

I probably would have said it out loud, then pulled my coat open and rubbed my bump.

Was it Northern Line? I used to travel on it. Luckily, i work locally now but it was horrible even when not pregnant!!
