Hello
I'm 23 weeks with my first and have only really felt the baby kick properly in the last ten days to two weeks.
At the 20 week scan, the sonographer said this was because the baby was kicking my placenta and not me which made sense I suppose.

Now i keep feeling it towards my bottom - like a fart that went the wrong way.
Does this sound normal?
thx

yup the joys of a kicking baby mine kicks me in the arse occassionally. most of my movements are down low at the front as i have an anterior placents. do get the odd one higher but its somewhat muffled. just wait till you caan see its elbows, feet and knees poking out ! can be a bit disconcerting at times

Mine used to do star jumps. She managed to kick me in the ribs, the side and the bits all at the same time. MW said this was due to her lying sideways.

Now she just pokes me in the bits. Lovely...
