Sore boobs after miscarraige

Hi guys, I sadly had a miscarriage on the 11th july, I was 6 weeks, i have been weekly testing, i took a test last weekend and it still said positive. Over the past couple of days my boobs have been so painful and swollen, they usually get this this just before I start my period, would it be my period coming at all? Thanks

Update, I just took a test and it says negative but my boobs are still swollen and very sore

@o0claireo0 I'm so sorry you're going through this. Unfortunately the horrible thing about a miscarriage is that the effects of you being once pregnant still lasts.

I had sore boobs & all symptoms up to three weeks after birthing it out. It's all about the hormones slowly regulating back to normal because the body doesn't yet recognise that something has changed in the womb
