I'm just looking for some ideas on best pregnancy pillows as there is so many too choose from and all different sizes and shapes... also when is best to buy them?

I'm 17 weeks and beginning to be a little uncomfortable at nights lying on my side.

Thank you 😃🤰🏻

@Laurab20 I'm 10 weeks and bought a pregnancy pillow a few weeks ago because I started suffering with lower back pain / sciatica, to help me sleep in a better position. I like you didn't know how to choose and ended up getting the bbhug me pillow per someone else's recommendation and because you can use it in a few different positions, plus potentially use when/if breastfeeding.

It is expensive and I found some second hand options on fb marketplace but they weren't near me so decided with travel it would basically cost the same as getting a brand new one.

I like it so far, it takes a bit getting used to sleeping with but is very comfortable and puts me to sleep very quickly.

@choccrumpet That's great I think I'll look into that one. It's good you can use it for other things 😊. I've had the odd bother with sciatica also from around 10 weeks but seems to be settling now so hopefully it doesn't come back.

Congratulations 🤰🏻👶🏻 xx

I also vote for the bbhugme. 32 weeks and it's been a saviour!

@iverunoutofinspiration Thank you! I'll definitely be looking into that one tonight! Thank you x

I also have a bbhugme and love it; borrowed a random massive u shaped pillow off my SIL during my first pregnancy and it did help, but it was so unwieldy! The bbhugme is still big but much easier to get into different positions/ roll over, and I like that you can use it as a bolster, in a ring shape to lie on your front, and I find the bean bag type filling a lot cooler and more comfy than a normal pillow.

They do come up on eBay but they get a lot of bids or are BIN for not a lot less than full price. I bought mine new in the end with a discount code from the retailer (some online baby store, I forget which one)

I also got mine with a 10/15% discount! It's worth singing up to the newsletter to just get the discount, it's not much off but it helps

I have a bbhugme and use it every night and my youngest is almost 4 😄

@CaptainWentworth Aww that's great thank you so much! I'd never heard of this pillow until tonight on this so thank you all 😁.

It's nice to know it's cooler than other pillows as it's a tad warm at the moment let alone being pregnant on top. 🙈

I think I would just buy one brand new, I'll hopefully find a few places who sell them. X
