Anyone done the Wedding Ring or Needle Test????

If so did it work out correctly???

Hold a needle or your wedding ring on a piece of long thread over your bump.

(Now this is where people have different Ideas) According to 4 web sites I have check out

If it spins / twists round & round its a girl.

If it swings from side to side its a boy.

Now I never did this with DS, but have with this Preg, still waiting till December to see if its correct.

Just wondered if there was anyone out there that had done this and the answer was correct.

Yes yes I know its an old wife's tale etc, but I'm just interested

Friends have done it in the past and its been 100% correct. I've done it too, before I was pregnant and had some strange results. Not done it since and wouldnt do it now cos i'm a bit supersticious sp?

A friend of mine is into crystals, pendulums, that sort of thing, and it was she who told me I was pregnant with a girl when she got a response from a new pendulum she was trying out. I had no plans to have children at all, and it was her insistance that I was pregnant that made me do a pregnancy test. I knew there was no way I was pregnant ... dd is now nearly three and a half.

This friend tells me that there are two ways you can use a pendulum (including a wedding ring) - you can hold it over your hand or your bump, and if it goes in circles it's a girl, backward and forwards it's a boy. Or, you can ask whether the baby is a girl (or a boy) and you will only get a response if the answer is yes.

I did the ring test and it said a girl, I had a
little boy!
Chinese pulse was correct for a boy though and predicted a girl for a friend of a friend.

needle was right

Wedding ring was correct for this baby (boy), but never did it for the dds. The Chinese chart had predicted a girl...

I tried the wedding ring on a chain over my bump with my last pregnancy, after a friend told me about it & it went round in circles, indicating a girl. I had a boy!
I also tried the one on the palm of your hand, which is supposed 2 indicate how many children u will have & what sex they will be.
It went side 2 side twice, showing 2 boys (which I have) & then went round in circles 2 indicate a girl.
My DH had a vasectomy after the boys, so we wont be having any more children!
The palm of your hand 1 is rather spooky though!
