Faint positive after sterilised.

Hi I got sterilised 2 months ago and after recently being active again after surgery I felt I should do a pregnancy test as I just had a feeling, I’ve had a few faint lines and perhaps an evap line to I just wanted someone’s opinion. I’ve been to the doctors before after having a faint positive at home it was negative but I did another at home test a week later and my 3 year old is messing about in front of me now!!!! I know this can mean several things and perhaps not even a viable pregnancy but I just need someone to tell me I’m not going mad!!!

I don’t know how to post a picture on here so any help would be appreciate 😂😂

I worked in childcare and was minding a wee boy who was a result after his mum was sterilised so it can happen.

@zippityzip thank you I’ve just joined today from complete fear if I’m going insane so I will wait until tomorrow for thoughts

@WhenZoomWasJustAnIceLolly does the pregnancy text progress the same will the line get darker etc ?? I’ve been doing really faint positives for 3 days now but doesn’t seem to be getting really dark ?? Didn’t know if ectopic progresses any differently

It's definitely possible to get PG after being sterilised. I know someone that had it happen.

norma29 I’m not a doctor or an expert but I understand that hcg levels don’t rise as quickly in an ectopic pregnancy. I think you should seek medical advice.

My levels rose only slightly less than double in my ectopic so although they started light, they did get a bit darker as time went on. Xx

Ok I can finally attach some pictures and get your opinions. I pretty sure I see lines in them all. But I done another clear blue and co op own brand ones today’s and they are negative. But sometimes maybe it’s just me I’m sure I can see a line. I feel more pregnant symptoms than period I think you kind of get a sense you could be. Would love all your opinions. The 3rd pic looks negative. The 2nd I can see a faint test line but the lighting is not the best. 1st I can see a faint + but cb are terrible for evaps.

If you've had clear negatives after faint positives it's most likely you are not pregnant. I would take a new test in a week and see what result you get then. If you get a positive then go straight to the GP

Today I got two clear negatives I’m sure

I can see a line in all three of the first lot you posted, faint but defo there. Would it be worth contacting your gp on Monday? Under the circumstances they may do a blood test to confirm either way x
