Why would your stomach be hard yet? At 10 weeks the uterus is still inside your pelvis, doesn't rise above it until after 12 weeks. Could be 16+ weeks before it's feeling any bit more solid.

Well I'm quite young and this is my first child and I google everything so I was just concerned my friend's stomach went quite firm at around 8 weeks that's all

Mine was firm early on but it was only because I was really bloated at the beginning, that’s very common and probably what happened with your friend.

It gradually got firmer starting from the bottom up.

What do you mean by chubby?
Being pregnant won't suddenly make stomach fat turn hard, plenty of women have soft stomachs all the way through due to a layer of fat around it.

At 10 weeks as another poster has said your womb will have barely changed and still be inside your pelvis. Pre pregnancy it's about the size of a lemon, at 10 weeks a large orange. So a few CMs different.
