Tests at 12 week scan

I have my 12 week scan on Thursday, I was wondering, when they check for Down's syndrome and test for other possible problems, are you told instantly or do you have to wait, my anxiety is through the roof for the scan as it is and I'm just generally terrified, my midwife is great but I feel like everything she has told me so far has gone completely over my head!

They do the scan and measure baby.
I had a blood test for the screening, it took less than 7 days for a letter to come in the post with the results (low for all)
The nurse said if there is a high chance they will ring you fo discuss the results.

They do the measurements during your scan (and blood at the same time, but this can be done with your midwife, depends on the trust) and you get a letter within 2 weeks, although mine was only a few days. If it’s anything to be concerned about they will phone you.

During my scan they told me the measurements look normal but it was all confirmed in the letter. I hope your scan goes okay

Same as above, they scanned and measured the baby and then I went into a separate room for bloods etc. I received the letter within a few days with the results x
