I am 8 dpo today, done a First respo, and came back negative, I see most of the women having a faith positive at 8dpo.

Do you think I still have a change of seeing second line?
Maybe some of you have some expirence with testing?

I know I have an ovulation on the 19/07 as I was testing LH surge everyday.

8dpo is still VERY early. It is possible to get a faint positive at this stage (I've had one myself) but it's not common.

Using OPKs only checks for LH surge, it doesn't confirm ovulation, only tracking your BBT will confirm that.

You're definitely not out yet. It's best to wait until AF is late before testing but I know that's not easy. If you want to test early then wait another couple of days. If it's still negative then wait another couple of days and test again. Always use FMU when testing early.

If you ovulated on 19th July, you are 7dpo but if the 19th was the day you got your surge you could only be 5dpo (assuming you did ovulate after the surge which an opk cannot guarantee).

8dpo is VERY EARLY. Implantation have to happen at 6 dpo to get a line on day 8. Its only happen to a few... Also, do not spend your money on overpriced test. I would suggest to order cheap strips from Amazon, I got my line there at 11dpo ( only tested that early as I started to have symptoms already and I knew it will be positive) I know its a fashion thing now and women acting like it's a race but I honestly think testing before the missed period can be very heart breaking. Ignore all the posts and don't forget: you are not out until your period arrives!

8dpo is super early OP. I did get a bfp at 9dpo but it was super super faint! My pregnancy before this I didn't get my bfp until 13dpo x

Thank you all, you calm me down a little bit :)

I was diagnosed with PCOS 9 years ago but only since last year I went on fertility treatment and my dosage was increased every month because It didn't work and only last month ovulation came after the medication !! I had tears in my eyes that finally we are getting to the point where we having a change!

In the same boat I posted about ‘symptoms’ I’m having… but I need to stop over analysing! Positive OPK on 19th too! When are you testing?? X

Really early! I tested from 7dpo cos I'm crazy and didn't get a faint line till 10-11dpo

I can see a shadow of a second line but I wouldn't trust blue dye tests, pink dye are far more reliable. Grab a FRER if you can. Best of luck.

@H8theW8 thank you as you said I got first response test and just done it and there is the most faint line I have ever seem but defo is there!! How likely is to have an evap on first response?!

@Ramona19 if the line has colour to it then it's a positive. Evaps are colourless/grey. Sounds like this could be it for you 😊 x

@Ramona19 do you have a pic of the first response? When I got my positive in one at 10dpo it was so faint I thought I was imagining it. By 12dpo it was so clear

@dazzlerdo here it is, I dont think you can see it as Its hard to capture on camera but I can see it all the time when I look at it ! Maybe only my eyes can see it and I am going crazy 🙈🙈

I'm sure I can see something vvfaint but I really do see lines all the time haha. I would test again in a day or two. Fingers crossed

@Ramona19 yes I can see it cleared in the edited pic. @H8theW8 your 10dpo test is really strong for 10dpo mine was more like your 8dpo when I tested at 10dpo. She's 2 years old now so just shows everyone tests different

@dazzlerdo yeah, it definitely does varies loads! It's not good to compare your results to anyone else's but I remember when I was pregnant with DS, I was really curious to see other peoples tests x

Thank you Ladies I am keep checking my my test if the line is still there lol ! I am feeling like a psycho sometimes when it comes to testing but never had a positive ( even a shadow ) on first response. I know I am still early but I will do a test tomorrow morning to see if the line is getting darker, a my AF is due between Monday- Wednesday.

I will try not to freak out until tomorrow !

@H8theW8 oh me too then I got paranoid if mine didn't look same as theirs. I also hated the weeks indicator ones but couldn't help doing them. I even did a test when I was around 22 weeks just to see what the line was like 😂
@H8theW8 don't be disheartened if it doesn't seem much darker, with me it was every 2 days I noticed a difference. Xx
