I’m 12 weeks and have been struggling with awful sickness and lived of bread and pasta and chips for 8 weeks or so. I’m still sickly but I need to start eating better ! I’m boderline overweight so don’t want to ballon or get diabetes. I also can’t handle plain water so having juices which isn’t great for sugar.

I can’t eat chicken fish meat or eggs I I’ve basically become vegetarian this pregnancy. These are all things I lived on before! I can’t handle cold salads either. Any ideas of what I can eat which isnt just fried carbs or buttered toast!

Fruit wise I’m having melon and oranges but that’s prob it.

Ideally quick things

I could only manage oat biscuits for a bit at that stage. And ginger tea.

Have you tried putting a jug of water in the fridge with orange or whatever fruit slices in it, so the water is properly cold and has a bit of flavour? I'm the opposite and can currently only drink cold water and milk, and on a good day, I can manage an orange or lemon slice in my water.

Grapes and pineapple were my 'next step' fruits after melon and oranges/satsumas in my first pregnancy.

Hummus or peanut butter on your toast? I can also sometimes cope with poached, soft, or hard boiled eggs when fried or scrambled are out of the question.
