Movement change at 32 weeks?

So I'm currently 32 weeks. Baby has always had consistent & strong movements from around 23 weeks onwards, pretty much in a set pattern. But the last 10 days it seems that she's completely changed that? Which I find odd as she's been so consistent previously. It also seems that she's completely moved position, which isn't abnormal but it now means I can only really feel her when lying down in bed completely still and on my right side. I would have thought that at 32 weeks no matter what position she lay in I would still be able to feel her normally? It's making me worried as it means I can't feel her throughout the day even when sitting down watching TV, I can only feel her lying down in bed. Is this normal? Is it possible for her to be more towards my back at this point? I've been in twice this week for reduced movements as a result of this because I simply cannot feel her as much as I used to and it's stressing me out so much 😩

Bump - I also have an anterior placenta so not sure if that would affect anything?

Any worries about movement and you must talk to your midwife or call the antenatal dept. It’s probably just position change plus anterior but you should call them definitely :)

Sorry see you’ve been in already - should read more carefully!
I’d always call them even if you feel a bit silly as it will reassure you

Hey op
I had an anterior placenta!
If your just feeling her on a certain side she's more than likely changed position.
Which way was she when you've been in this week?
But in all honestly any change, no matter if you've been in this week already I would ring.
I was in and out all the time!

The midwife felt my tummy when I saw her Thursday, said she feels like she's curled around quite low down. I also had a scan earlier this week and they said she's head down, so I'm confused as to why I can't feel her movements as much now as she's been head down at every scan I've had. It's just confusing to me how I can only now feel her movement when I lay down, when before I felt her all the time whatever I was doing? Surely at this stage and her size I'd feel her a lot more Confused

You're 4 weeks ahead of me but at my growth scan Friday, I mentioned my baby goes through phases where I can't feel him much unless I lie down and then there's days then where I can. The day of my scan I didn't feel anything, I have an anterior placenta, the consultant showed on the screen the baby moving but it was making all its movements into the placenta and therefore blocking the movements. He told me to just lie down to get reassurance. My baby is also head down and curled around :-)

Baby is likely making all its movements into your placenta which is why you can't feel unless you lie on your side, at which point the baby and placenta would shift direction I assume and that's why we can feel when lying down!

Hope this helps xx
