I don't feel pregnant

I've struggled to get pregnant for 6 years as i have cystic fibrosis. I didn't think it would ever happen naturally but the universe has blessed me with a positive pregnancy test! I think I'm around 6/7 weeks but I'm really worried as I don't have many symptoms. Around the 4th/5th week, I noticed I had tender boobs, dizzy spells, nausea and really bad hot flushes. Now I'm just having some dizzy spills and feeling hot. My boobs feel fine and I don't feel pregnant. I'm overthinking everything and I think I'm still in disbelief. This should be the happiest time for me, I finally got what I wanted but I am sick with worry that I'm going to go to a scan and hear no heart beat:(

Congratulations!
Please try not to worry. I got pregnant via IVF and was distraught when my boobs quickly returned to normal, after initially being tender, & my nausea settled. DC is now a teen. It’s normal for lots of women for symptoms to vanish.
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy Flowers

Congrats on your pregnancy!
Everyone's body is different. Not everyone has symptoms or the same symptoms. You could do another test if u believe it will give you more confidence. Try to keep calm. Easier said than done, but please do try. Smile

Thank you for the replies! I've been taking tests every few days and the positive is still very much there. My worst habit is falling down google and YouTube holes and looking at every worst outcome:/ I've just always had in my head that when you get pregnant you feel all these different things and it's just not what I expected. I've had no bad cramping or spotting tho so my main worry is going to be a no heartbeat. I just wish I could enjoy this

Congratulations!

Symptoms can come and go, it’s also still very early days.

The first trimester is very tough but try not to worry. In a few weeks time it’s very possible that symptoms may hit full force. However, I know people who had healthy pregnancies with barely any symptoms. It’s just one of those things.

Just try and relax.

Hi I remember being VERY panicked in my first pregnancy because in the first trimester symptoms would come and go. About 6 weeks they left completely and then came back and then went again. Fairly sure if you did a search you would find several threads started by me, panicking about this! I had a no issue pregnancy and now have a 14 month old. Try not to panic (easier said than done!).

I'm 16+3 right now and have barely felt pregnant this entire time. Also an IVF baby.
I had sore boobs for a total of ONE day and that was it. Had nausea one night as well and other than that I was just super tired
I also got quite bloated, then that started to go as I got into second trimester too. I had a gender scan yesterday and was panicked all the way up to it because I was convinced I wasn't pregnant because I didn't feel pregnant at all

It's hard because we're told all these symptoms all the time and when we don't get them it's a panic. Some may say we're lucky but it does cause a huge anxiety around things

These replies are very reassuring so thank you! I just want to enjoy this but I'm scared to get too happy just for it all to be taken away from me. Keep reading horror stories on google and I'm feeling more negative than positive atm! Weeks are dragging for the first scan:(

I really can relate to this, this is why I said the first trimester is just so hard. Nothing really happens and you are just of just left to it really.

I think we all drive ourselves a bit mad in the first trimester.

Try and stay away from Google and keep yourself busy.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I am an overthinker as well, but please try to keep your mind at bay, you need to be calm.. It really helps me if I force myself to focus on small tasks, or tasks that have nothing to do with what I'm overthinking about. for example, I force my mind to create a list of movies I've seen and would like to watch again, change the order of books on the bookshelf, make a new playlist for the car, or something of this kind.

Sending you all the positive energy lovely! Good luck!

@abbieosb I have just come across this post and also have to say it has been reassuring.
I have just created a post similar to this.
I am 4 weeks pregnant after 2 losses and feel like the mild symptoms I had when I found out last week have seemed to have disappeared ....
