Low beta success stories

Hi Ladies, I'm just wondering if there's any of you that have a low beta success story that can give me hope? At 9DP5DT my beta was 36.5 so I have to go back when I'm 13DP5DT for repeat bloods to see if its doubling appropriately. IVF takes so much out of you and I'm desperately trying to find something to give me some hope x

Hi there. I’m sorry you are so worried. It’s so tough. I had IVF in April and transferred 2 x day 5 embryos (one good quality and one not so good). My clinic don’t do beta bloods but said to do a test 13 days post transfer. Anyway ended up in a&e with chest pain at 8dp5dt and they took a beta and it was 80. Initially I was delighted as it was a positive but the more I thought about it and googled it, the less reassured I was. I didn’t have it repeated as I just didnt want to know. Went for 6 week scan and one little baba with a heartbeat. Went for 8 week scan and 2 babies!!!! They’d missed one at 6 weeks. So mine was 80 on the evening of 8dp5dt with twins. I suppose what’s important is to look at what the next result is. The normal would be to repeat it after 48hrs as it should double(ish) in 48 hrs so that’ll be 4 days between your so might be hard to be sure. Best of luck x

Oh wow @TwinsJan22 that must have been quite a shock at the 8 week scan! Thank you for sharing your experience I'm hoping that my next beta will be a good number x
