Braxton Hicks 33+3

Been having "braxton hicks" since about 11am today so approx 8+hours. On and off but 6-10 an hour. No increase in pain but don't go away with movement +/or rest. They do take my breath away though and last average 10-20 seconds. All Discomfort in my front and pelvis and nothing in by back ( I have an anterior placenta - does that make a difference (?)))

This is my third DC - DC1 and DC2 both ecs -
So this is very new to me.

Any advice/ similar experiences to share?

I would call the midwife and get checked out. The fact that you are posting on mumsnet tells me that something might be telling you that it merits further investigation.

I’m pregnant with my third (currently 38 weeks) my bh’s have been much stronger this time.
At one point mine were coming every 3 minutes apart, no change with resting, movement etc.
Rang AAU who told me to take 2 paracetamol & if it didn’t change in an hour call back. Anyway it stopped so didn’t need to call back. Xx
