Negative clearblue digital, no period

Hi everyone. So I'm late by 5 days and I've taken 2 clearblue digitals over the past few days and both have come back not pregnant. I'm having cramps as if I'm on my period and nausea, but no blood at all. A fair bit of discharge though. I rang the doctors and they got a pharmacist to call me, he just simply told me to take paracetamol for the pain and stay hydrated. Honestly. I'm at a complete loss as I'm very regular and have only ever missed a period when I'm pregnant. Any advice? Thank you.

Apparently the covid jab has been known to cause periods to become irregular. Could it be that?

Took a frer. Third wee of this morning but only had one cup of tea. Negative. Surely it would say positive when I'm this late at any time of the day if I was pregnant.

Should not affect u cycle then if you have had your cycles after that, I had this happen once and it was a cp test only show a faint positive for a few days the nagitive then my period came 5 days late. Could maybe that's what's happened.

If you ovulate late for any reason, your period would be late by the same number of days. There are a million and one things that can delay ovulation. It's also not at all unusual for you to skip ovulation for a cycle, which will cause it to be irregular. Even if this isn't usual for you, it's not remotely unusual. Most doctors wouldn't show the slightest interest or concern until you've missed a second, or even a third period.

If you fall pregnant during one off these 'late ovulation' cycles, you wouldn't get a positive test until later either. That's why many women who are ttc track when they ovulate - as af will show up approx two weeks after ovulation (same number of days for a particular woman, but can be different for different women).

So in conclusion, late af with a negative test? Late ovulation and keep waiting.

It's just a waiting game.
