Plus size and pregnant

Hi, I was just wondering what did any plus size ladies bumps look like?
I’m a size 16-18 and I’m 34 weeks pregnant now but I have an ‘apron’ pregnant belly so my stomach hasn’t rounded out only up the top but still really flabby at the bottom and I’ve been told so many times that I’m carrying small but my baby is weighing on the 50th percentile so they’re not particularly small! But my friend who’s heavier than me is 36 weeks now and her belly is perfectly round and her bump is large, I know you shouldn’t compare bumps and everyone is different but I can’t help but compare and I’m getting fed up of being told my bump is really small now 🙄 what did any other plus size ladies bumps look like at 34 weeks? Thank you ☺️

Any other plus size pregnant mothers?

I wouldn't say 16/18 is particularly "plus size" these days. But, every woman carries differently - some just have a fairly neat bump and others just look quite big all over. I was one of the big all over brigade. Don't compare yourself to others and if the midwives are happy with the way it's all going, then you've nothing to worry about!

I was size 16 pre-pregnancy but 5ft 8. I have a droopy apron and excess skin after having huge twins and still have that jiggly flabby bit under bump. My bump is huge above it though and very round as baby is very big (above 97th centile). Pic is bump with me pulling the flabby bit to the side, I was 35+1 then.

Mines round and am a size 18.

I'm a size 20 and this was my bump at 33 weeks (second DC). The top of my bump is solid but the bottom is very jiggly...

I'm a size 24 & this was my bump around the same time.

I’m a size 20 and have a B belly in both pregnancies. In my first my bump was small and kept getting told so until maybe the last month or so when I suddenly had a very obvious protruding bump. This pregnancy I’m currently 28 weeks you can tell I’m pregnant but would probably be easy to hide it as well and my bump doesn’t look anything like other round pregnancy bellies posted. I just think we’re all so different and carry so different i know it it’s hard not to compare but our bodies are individual to us xxx

Ha ha mine is roundish bigger at the top! But thank goodness for high up maternity trousers 😂. Only thing keeping my bump looking round I would be droopy without that lol

Size 16 here. I'm currently almost 17 weeks and my belly looks so weird! B shaped and so flabby at the bottom. Previous DC was massive plus excess fluid, c section and split stomach muscles have just ruined my belly 😂 hoping I round out eventually.

I'm currently a size 18 and due to previous section not that long ago I have the rounded top but droopy lower left side due to where the section was..... it had bothered me ever since I saw my stomach after the section but always stayed droopier on that side!

I'm guessing it is due to muscles etc and also skin as multiple pregnancies close together have not been kind to my stomach!

So when taking bump photos I have to make sure I've moved the excess out of the way so it looks like a nice, regular bump instead of extra droopy at bottom! I can also feel the extra flabby skin underneath the bump from the section and I have to admit it does annoy me quite a but

I was also beginning to think that I was the only one with that... well I guess I am with the one side drooping more but not with the extra all round hanging! Lovely bump photos
