Sporadically over the last week I've been having very watery fluid in my knickers. I've had heavy discharge since the start of my pregnancy so this is a change. Worried it could be amniotic fluid as only 31 weeks. Should I call day assessment unit or am I overreacting?

Yes you need to call, there’s a quick simple test they can do to check if it’s amniotic fluid or discharge. Doesn’t hurt and tells you straight away. Good luck x

Please go straight away x

Thanks both. I went and was monitored. Not amniotic fluid, which is good, but did pick up baby was measuring a bit small, but not worryingly so. Thanks for your replies x

No unfortunately he was still born. I had to keep going to hospital every few days to check if my waters had increased but they were just getting lower, and because of this he wasn't developing, not swallowing water/ peeing, kidney and stomach problems. We're truly blessed to have three more wonderful healthy sons Flowers

@MinnieJackson so sorry for your loss xx
