I suffer anxiety anyway, but I’m sure this can’t be normal?
I’m 17 weeks and I’ve seen people full term doing more than me.
I can’t even get out of bed without breaking a full sweat, breathing like I’m literally going to pass out 🥵. I’ve been in bed for 10 weeks because I genuinely can’t cope with this pregnancy.
Sorry for the rant I’m fed up 😢

I know it’s horrible to be feeling rubbish for so long but please don’t beat yourself up about how much you’re doing compared to other people. Remember that every pregnancy is different so you’re not necessarily feeling the same as other people.

Are you getting sufficient support from your GP/ midwife- do they know how bad you’re feeling?

Sorry you are feeling so awful Flowers I would definitely speak to your midwife/GP as that doesn’t sound at all right to me.

Obviously everyone and every pregnancy is different, but I’m 34 weeks and still working full time, exercising daily and running around with two young kids. I fall asleep on the sofa most evenings after dinner and am obviously a bit slower than usual, but I’m not massively impaired in any way.

Im not saying this to make you feel shit at all, I promise, just that (barring any significant medical conditions) you don’t have to feel like this and there might be something relatively simple you can do to help ensure you enjoy the second half of your pregnancy a little more. I’m not a medical professional but could it be something like anaemia, and an iron supplement could make a big difference?

Pregnancy is different for everyone, bedbound for 10 weeks in early pregnancy does sound extreme but maybe this is just normal for you. I agree that it's worth talking to your doctor and getting bloods checked though.
