PCOS - early pregnancy. Tw miscarriage

Ttc naturally for a over a year, suspected pcos but never properly looked into. Conceived without medical intervention, not even so much as a doctors appointment. I heard that women with pcos are up to 3x more likely to miscarry ranging between 30%-50% of all pregnancies ending in miscarriage for women with pcos.

I've scanned the internet and haven't found what I am after. Does anybody know the chances of miscarriage in early pregnancy week by week for women with pcos?

Any help would be grateful. Currently 5 weeks pregnant but constantly upset and worried I'm going to miscarry

As nice as I can be - stop the googling. Finding out what percentages and chances will not change your story or how your pregnancy will go.

If you can't find anything obvious online then take it as being similar to 'normal' pregnancies and try enjoy this time.

I'm a huge hypocrite because I googled til my fingers fell off and worried about miscarriage 90% of my day but I later figured it didn't matter which stats and stories I heard, nothing will change the outcome of my pregnancy

Exactly this. Knowing what the percentage chance of MC is will not change the chance that it happens to you, it'll just make you more stressed and unhappy. Make sure you're taking folic acid and vit D, and following the NHS advice on eating.

FWIW I was diagnosed with PCOS while TTC DC1, needed Clomid to get pregnant first time, but now have two lovely DSs (second one conceived spontaneously) and no MC.

Thank you both. I really do need to stop stressing, I know I need to stop focusing on other peoples statistics and just focus on my own pregnancy. This a very wanted baby and my mind has just gone into overdrive. I will do my best to stay away from googling and just take each day as they come Smile
