Hello I have the contraceptive implant had it in since 2019 my period is late this month what shall I do

I had the contraceptive implant many years. Usually after the first year it made my period very irregular. I also know people who's periods stoped completely after some time. So I would not worry too much, the chances of getting pregnant whilst on the contraceptive implant are very small.

But take a test, it will put your mind at ease.

My implant always made my period irregular. They usually last 4 years so I wouldn’t think you would be pregnant, but if it reassures you, take a test for sure
