Recommendations please?

Don't need a ton of support, am (still) not that shape. Am only 4/5 months so thinking may continue changing. Might as well get something suitable for nursing while I'm at it.

I like the M&S crop typos but I don't see how they'd work for nursing. Is there something similar with a button?

Lol. "Typo" is a typo. Meant crop tops obviously.

I've tried those H&M ones, they are not for the short bodied! Nor are the Jojo Maman 2 pack £19 ones. I'm still on the hunt for something stretchy (I've been in m&s crop tops since last baby), nursing capable and that fits a short person with a 28 back and larger breasts (very size changable obviously atm).

I've got these from M&S, super comfy and have had same ones since 11 weeks (31 now) and they've accommodated my growing chest. Also got a couple of nicer ones too and a bandeau from next which is wireless, not nursing though.

Bravado ones, very comfy. I think I got them from jojo Maman.

Soverymuchfruit · 20/07/2021 16:10

@Liland actually, now you mention it, I always max out adjustable straps, so sounds like the H&M ones will fit me well. Hope you can find something that works for you soon.

@xsjrx I'm finding it a bit odd that things with such a defined cup to them, don't have a cup size. I'm still probably only a B cup, but have quite wide ribs, do you have any idea if the medium would fit?

(Afraid I'm only shopping online as I'm not keen on going into shops where others aren't masked. Though tbh I don't like trawling the shops anyway.)

H&M nursing vests with the inbuilt support are amazing. I wore them even after DD stopped breastfeeding because they are so comfy.

LunaDreams · 20/07/2021 16:37

I have these and have found they are super comfy and adapt will with my changing size....

My partner bought me the calvin klein one. It's a bit pricey but it's so comfortable and lovely and soft material.

xsjrx · 20/07/2021 17:32

@Soverymuchfruit depending on your back width you'd likely be fine with a small. I was a 34B/C pre pregnancy and in the early weeks so bought the medium and have gone up to a 36E now ( finally got into get measured a while back as needed a new sports bra) and they still fit fine. ☺️

xsjrx · 20/07/2021 17:34

@Soverymuchfruit should have said my ribs have definitely widened in that time too.

I recently bought the bravado ballet nursing bra and it's the best thing ever. It's the first bra without a wire that I've ever found genuinely comfortable (I'm usually a DD and find that non-wired bras tend to have to be very tight under the boobs to provide any decent support). I'm in love with it and I'm ordering another tonight. I got mine from asos.

Soverymuchfruit · 21/07/2021 00:28

Ok many thanks for your help. I have ordered several of your recommendations.

@xsjrx afraid I am wide of back but small of cup - not very fashionable! - and their "small" crop top is actually too tight for me now on the ribs. So I've given the non M&S options a try today, as they look a better shape in the photos. But will be back if these don't fit. Thanks for your help on sizing, very useful to compare.

@Soverymuchfruit No worries at all, fingers crossed you find something that suits you. It's a minefield trying to find a nice bra at times never mind when blinking pregnant. ☺️

Meant to say I use these at night time before and now and they are super comfy, infact just bought another for Labour clothes as easy to pull down.

Happy hunting!
